REGIONAL PROCESS of TURKEY and around
In line with the spirit of “bridging divides”, the 5th World Water Forum regional process will take place through a number of regional coordination meetings leading up to the Forum, both more continental-based regions and at the sub-regional or national scale, which will ultimately feed into the political outcomes of the Forum. The regional processes will thus produce a substantive contribution to both the thematic and political processes, effectively contributing to “bridging” these fundamental elements of the Forum. Each region is coordinated by a specific organization or group of organizations that aims to bring together the various stakeholders from all sectors and corners of the region.
The meetings are planned to be held as conferences and workshops providing more time for discussions and interaction, rather than a seminar or symposium. The outputs of these meetings should have direct impact on daily life and be practice-oriented. At the end, there will be a single document summarizing all concrete outputs of the related meetings.
The following list shows the regional meetings around Turkey which will provide valuable contributions for the 5th World Water Forum.
